that's what i meant by the music my generation listens to
i'm very sensitive to music and how it affects me, so i can't listen to that loud stuff

I don't listen to it... Not because of the tempo or the "loudness" (I can listen to both soft and loud, slow and fast) but because I find most of the songs they play to be very shallow, lyrically...

I need substance to my music (unless I'm in a weird al mood)

By that do you mean it's the fast pace and loudness that you dislike? or you mean that general fast pace music doesn't have meaningful lyrics?

I love the Insyderz cover of Awesome God :-D

I used to listen to Klove for a bit... =\
It's basically an easy listening station, it got old real quick.
and it's not like I don't like soft music; classical happens to be one of my favorite music genres.

It's just that easy listening stations all sound like Elton John songs. There's only so much I can take of that.
Once in awhile they'd play something like Rebecca St. James to speed up the mix. But hardly.

Whoa. That conversation quickly went in the complete opposite direction of how it was intended. I have to admit, though, that everyone still was rather mature in disagreement. Cool.

My take: I used to listen to klove quite a bit. The problem is, my taste in music (like many people's) changed over the years. It seems that klove still plays the same style of music. The artists change, of course, but the style doesn't really. I think it's a great station for people into that style.

On a personal note, it was klove's incesant playing of the song "Smell the Color 9" that finally drove me away. For some reason that one really grated on my nerves.
