Oh, and I'm listening to Miyavi- Jibun Kakumei 2003 (I'm not sure if this is correct, but I think that means "Self-revolution" or something like that..."jibun" is "self" and "kakumei" is "revolution", so)

Ken Ishii - Extra (Luke Slater mix)

Japanese techno, basically.

I have been trying to find stuff from him.... where did you get it?

Does he only do techno?

Ken Ishii is very abstract techno. Kinda like experimental electronica really - the track "Extra" is one of his more conventional productions.


If you want more... here are a couple of very good Japanese artists:

Boom Boom Sattellites - still experimental but more structured than Ishii.
DJ Krush - a true master of hip-hop.... I am a big fan. Check out the track "Only the Strong Survive"
