They sound to feminish for my taste.
EDIT: Don't get me wrong, I love their stuff. I just think they have a stupid uniftting band name.
GrubbTheFragger wrote:Feminish...........yes after all all girls love some chaotic metalcore .........again there name is spose to be stupid it is TONGUE AND CHEEK humor. Look at song titles like Rose mary had an accident and other random stuff. At least you like there music cuz there lyrics are really really really good.
Anyways
Dragonforce: Inhuman rampage
Fear before the March of flames: The always open mouth

THE NAME IS FEMINISH!
Not the sound.
Metalcore? Sounds like screamo to me. Well, perhaps screamo/metalcore, I just hear more screamo than Metalcore. Metalcore being bands like "As I Lay Dying" ect.
GrubbTheFragger wrote:XD sorry man i was just messing with ya in the other post. Yeah they do have screamo stuff in i that album but it isn't screamo it is by far metalcore. The stuff on there myspace is more of there screamo side. The rest of the album is straight out metalcore
Tom Dincht wrote:I heard mewithoutyou on Purevolume and I don't find their stuff impressive at all. I'm assuming it's like Showbread in the sense that it grows on you.
Anyways Grub, I plan on purchasing "Dear Love: A Beautiful Discord".
Tom Dincht wrote:Well, I don't find it a love or hate band because I neither love nor hate them.
They're a decent band, but I would never expect any of the material to fall into a category of "Best Album of the Year".
No I haven't listened to Brothers, Sisters (Should it be plural?) in it's entirety, but I still can't understand how you could say it's the best album of the year after purchasing Age of Reptiles.
I may try out a mewithoutyou CD perhaps after Maylene and the Sons of Disaster, and The Devil Wears Prada (I cannot say that band-name with a straight face).
Kkun wrote:I can say Brother, Sister is better than Age of Reptiles because as far as originality, songwriting, lyricism, and overall creativity, it is. Age of Reptiles is fun, and Showbread is one of my favorite bands but mewithoutYou is just better all around.
GrubbTheFragger wrote:As much as i hate to say it that statement hits it right on the head. MWY is amazing lyrically. I myself am not a huge fan but they are by far the most original bands out and have a excellent writting structure.
Rachel wrote:Today I got Blindside's "The Great Depression." I haven't listened to it yet, but I'm sure it'll be awesome.
Kkun wrote:You guys know how much I love mewithoutYou and Showbread. They are my two favorite bands by far, it's just that mewithoutYou is waaaaaaaaaay more talented than The 'Bread. The 'Bread is amazing, and I love them, and they are all wonderful guys who make wonderful, fun rock n' roll, but mewithoutYou is just.....beautiful.
