"My Dear" by Royal (obscure, but good quality), "Ultraphonic Hiss" by Morella's Forest (obscure and unremarkable), and "Comatose" by Skillet.

I also just received the soundtrack to Howl's Moving Castle as a gift.

NO, NO!

THE NAME IS FEMINISH!

Not the sound.

Metalcore? Sounds like screamo to me. Well, perhaps screamo/metalcore, I just hear more screamo than Metalcore. Metalcore being bands like "As I Lay Dying" ect.

I stopped by our local pawn shop and found Ben Folds Five self titled debut album, Goo Goo Dolls' "A Boy Named Goo," Sarah McLachlan's "Mirrorball," and Third Eye Blind's "Out of the Vein" unopened, and all for $2. :D

Since Kkun hasn't replied yet I will answer your question Zarn. Yes it is completely normal to fall over from the sheer awesome. Head explosions -though noticably less- have also resulted from the assault of a crapton of awesome on their ears.

I heard mewithoutyou on Purevolume and I don't find their stuff impressive at all. I'm assuming it's like Showbread in the sense that it grows on you.

Anyways Grub, I plan on purchasing "Dear Love: A Beautiful Discord".

Yeah Tommy boy, MewithoutYou does grow on you. They are generally a love them or hate them band though. If you don't like them you are almost bound to think that they are one of the most annoying bands ever...But if you like them it's almost certian that they'll grow to be one of your favorites.

mewithoutYou is definitely an acquired taste.......they're one of those things that if you don't get them, you just don't get them, but once you do, like Mr. Dude said, they become one of your favorites. The songwriting is incredible, and the lyricism is deeply poetic. They're just very different from usual music.

Well, I don't find it a love or hate band because I neither love nor hate them.

They're a decent band, but I would never expect any of the material to fall into a category of "Best Album of the Year".

No I haven't listened to Brothers, Sisters (Should it be plural?) in it's entirety, but I still can't understand how you could say it's the best album of the year after purchasing Age of Reptiles.

I may try out a mewithoutyou CD perhaps after Maylene and the Sons of Disaster, and The Devil Wears Prada (I cannot say that band-name with a straight face).

I can say Brother, Sister is better than Age of Reptiles because as far as originality, songwriting, lyricism, and overall creativity, it is. Age of Reptiles is fun, and Showbread is one of my favorite bands but mewithoutYou is just better all around.

As much as i hate to say it that statement hits it right on the head. MWY is amazing lyrically. I myself am not a huge fan but they are by far the most original bands out and have a excellent writting structure.

You guys know how much I love mewithoutYou and Showbread. They are my two favorite bands by far, it's just that mewithoutYou is waaaaaaaaaay more talented than The 'Bread. The 'Bread is amazing, and I love them, and they are all wonderful guys who make wonderful, fun rock n' roll, but mewithoutYou is just.....beautiful.

Beautiful? I will never understand how mewithoutYou is beautifully, but I'm just going to have to take your word on it.

Anyways, I went to Newbury Comics last light and snagged these for 10$ each:

-The Devil Wears Prada (Dear Love, A Beautiful Discord)
-MxPx (Let it Happen/Deluxe Edition)

While I was at job training in Salt Lake City I found Lil Raskull's Gory II Glory (for 2 bucks) and Wynton and Ellis Marsellis Joe Cool's Blues (the music from the Peanuts cartoons) and couldn't pass them up.
