Um, I was wondering if anyone has any tips on inking and scanning. Because I can't never get my good art(pencil) digital, it always turns out to light and when I ink my outlines become over emphasised. Can anyone help me?

What I often find is that I get little dark areas where the paper is crinkled. To solve this, for a really good scan, I pile lots of heavy books on top of the scanner

That's good advice. I have had trouble with mine getting dark areas lately. And usually lightly adjusting the brightness/contrast bars in your image editor will give you the effect you want...
