Hey guys. What's the worst nightmare you've ever had? Last night I had a nightmare that I was banned from CAA (it wasn't very realistic:I could still view the site and even PM people, I just couldn't post topics or replies. Thank the Lord that it ended while I was typing LadyRushia a PM telling her to tell a long list of users that I love them. But off of my nightmares, what are yours? We'll also give you free comfort and hugs here! (I will anyway.)

I once was transformed into a gold coin. Darth Maul appeared on a motorcycle and sliced me in half. Unfortunately, that particular moment was repeated multiple times....
I have never really like Star Wars since.

Ouch. Who's Darth Maul? Is he Darth Vader? God bless! :0

He's the creepy red and black dude from the Phantom Menace. Has a dual-bladed lightsaber. Ring any bells?

I once had a dream that my entire family had to be sacrificed to a volcano and I was the only one aloud to live. My mom hugged me and then some evil dudes pushed her in and made me watch her melt to death. 0.o I woke up shaking and crying. I think I was like 12 at the time, it was one of the most strangest and frightning dreams I've ever had...there have been plenty to. Trust me.

That thought scares me. Now we both need a hug. :?:

I had one where I was fighting some sort of monster, and I was calling for help because I was about to die, and watched my mom walk off. It was really unrealistic because my mom is a psychopath and could probably take on the high school football team and win.

I can't go into those details because the worst ones are too explicit.

Thanks for not doing so. Anyway, you guys make my dream very tame and cuddly and not scary at all (in comparison that is.)

Yeah, uh, Mewster, as I've said before, you're a really wound up and jittery kind of guy, so you're more sensitive to small things than guys like me. It's a combination of personality and upbringing. Everyone's different when it comes to these things.

You mean girl? CAA is my home away from home (Home being Heaven) so losing CAA would actually be traumatic for me.

Right meant to say girl, which brings the whole male/female mindset thing into the mix. I can't really understand your distress because my fears and insecurities are extremely different than yours. Not saying yours are foolish or misplaced, just different.

I had dream where I was trying to call 911 on a cell phone and everytime I would push the buttons it would be a different number. Then I got 911 and didn't know the adress where I was and running around the house trying to find something with a address on it.
I remember other dreams trying to yell a warning and couldn't.

1. Couldn't tell you because I don't remember my dreams.
2. Is this thread for real?

I don't really have bad dreams, I just go with the flow of the dream and don't judge it when I'm in it; when I wake up, I kinda go "huh" and move on.

A couple weeks ago, though, I dreamt that I watched Evangelion with my brother and sister (who aren't anime fans). My parents showed up and told us to get dressed up because we were going to some old office building. We wandered around it in our fancy clothes and admired the old elevators and the incredibly extensive pneumatic mail systems in the building. According to the dream, pneumatic mail tubes are popular in North Korean offices! Par for the course for the dreams I have.

During hurricane Katrina about five years ago, I had a doozy. I was being attacked by demons who had managed to dogpile on me and were just about ready to crush my heart. Then I heard a voice commanding them to stop. That was when I woke up. To this day, I believe the dream actually represented my fears at the time and that the voice was my angel stopping them.

Yes, Xeno, this thread is for real.

I dreamed I was banned from a forum once (for posting links to "illegal writing sites" o.O?), and like the OP's dream, it didn't make a whole lot of sense. Nowhere near the worst I've had, though. Actually, once I got out of the "Mommy I had a nightmare about aliens can I climb in with you?? D8" phase, I don't remember having any dreams that scared or truly upset me.

Most of my bad-ish dreams nowadays are of me obliviously doing things that people just don't do, and nobody says anything about it, so I have no clue I've done some social taboo. (Which, you know, is not something I worry about irl. At all. Nope.) Then when I wake up and realize "Holy crap, I dreamed I wore pajamas to the library", it's kind of embarrassing. XD

Worst dreams I ever have usually involve me getting attacked by someone/something and no matter how hard I fight nothing I do hurts them, even poking them in the eyes. But these dreams don't really bother me much, they're just annoying. And they're rare, most of the dreams I have are either really random (like nothing in this thread has been as random as some of my dreams) or they come true although I very very rarely remember these until they happen.

I've had a few this week, and I'll be able to remember them for like, five minutes of being awake... then I'm totally lost as to what happened to me.
I'm not sure if I wanna know or not though >.>

I have dreams where I just die over and over again, usually in grotesque ways. Everyday objects become weapons. Mostly, I get stabbed. :(

The worst nightmares are the ones that I can't control myself. I don't remember much from these ones, just that something else was controlling me and making me do violent things to others. Usually people I love.

It's unnerving.:(

I had this really weird dream once that a cougar picked my mom up and threw her into our dock. I bawled my eyes out, even if it wasn't realistic. I had to go check on my mom and give her a hug to go back to sleep. :(

When I was little I had a few where I was kidnapped. Those were pretty bad.

More recent ones...I can't really think of any bad dreams. I suppose the worse one was several months ago when I dreamed that I was invisible and no one could see me, hear me, and I could make no forms of communication, verbally or physically. That one really scared me when I woke up, which is weird because I'm a pretty quiet person in general. But I guess choosing to be quiet is a lot different than being un able to communicate at all with the ones you love.

I can't remember what exactly happened in the dream but there was a child locked in a small cage, being eaten alive by all kinds of different bugs and then I killed myself and was in hell having all kinds of crazy stuff done to me.

Ok not gonna lie mines just plain frightening.

I dreamed that I was in an crowded airport and suddenly as I was talking to this friend from my Japanese class and suddenly she gets shot and starts bleeding to death in front of me, and I began screaming. But everyone there couldn't see her; so they all stared at me like something was wrong with me. I was panicking. I was so worried about her that whenever she missed class I freaked (and she was quite sickly so i freaked often) And then later that year she confessed to me that she was suicidal...so its like my dream sorta: she was dying [inside], but no one could see her. O_O )''x

And another time I dreamt the sky turned red and a giant tornado swept down and dug a canyon in the earth and my friends fell in. I woke up when I fell too. D: Now I'm sorta scared of tornadoes.

And lastly, I dreamt I was at work at 2 am (not impropable cuz i worked til midnight lots) but since I had a meeting the next morning (which i did) my manager said to stay at the store. I went out to my car and curled up in the backseat...but then these ghetto gangsters (I saw a lot when I lived in San Diego) started banging on my windows and saying frightening and dirty things to me...then they broke the window...and I woke up. O_o

Well those are my worst ever. At least since I became a teen.

#1 worst dream, my dad died and one of the elders in our church was helping my family make arrangements. Nothing over the top. Just really mundane, so when I woke up it felt real and I had to take a minute or so to realize it was just a dream. I woke up crying.

#2 worst dream, I caught my mom having an affair with some guy, kissing him in our church building no less. I hauled off and punched him in the face, and dragged my mom out of there. I woke up furious.

I believe both of these dreams happened when I was in high school. These dreams are, to me, far worse than monster chase and flat out scary dreams, because they were so mundane and believable. They took time to realize that they weren't real, and they involved probably my worst fear, which is losing the people I love (and more specifically my parents, I think).

math dreams - where you just see patterns, like geometric figures. However, that's it - all night long, hour after hour after hour as they twist and rotate and you feel like your head is going to explode as you're trying to figure it out. Or the dreams where you're writing down equations on blackboards or pieces of paper and the equations don't ever get smaller, they just get larger and larger and larger and you keep starting over figuring that you missed some kind of trick but can't find any. These only occur after doing math for weeks all day long though - eventually it follows you into your dreams and you just feel worn out when you wake up.

As far as really sad dreams? I have really long dreams that sometimes feel like they last days (with pieces missing), during these dreams, I'd occasionally make good friends with the dream characters. What was really sad was waking up only to find that they suddenly ceased to exist. It was as if they died - except they wouldn't come back in Heaven, they were wiped out of existence because I woke up. I had them more often when I was younger and did cry on occasion because of them - I just wanted to run back into the dream world and find them again :'(.

I've had dreams where someone was chasing me and I couldn't scream for help. Like, my voice did not work. Those are terrible. D:

I had a dream my family died and I was the only one who survived and then when I was out on the streets, 2 guys mugged me.

My worst recent dream was that my adoptive daddy was really a vampire. Except he was a nice vampire, kind of like Kaname Kuran (don't say Edward Cullen). I had a really weird nightmare last summer that I was my adoptive mommy. It was only a nightmare because the children were acting unruly (it's funny cuz the children are very well behaved.)
