Anyone visited the UK or lived here?
What places did you go to, and what did you think? I've got a couple of American flatmates that have just moved over here to Manchester and they seem to be enjoying themselves.
Oh yeah, this thread's a roll call to any UK'ers on the board too

I can't say that I've been there myself, but my parents went there about 20 years ago. From the pictures they took, it looks like a beautiful place.

My dad travles to England a lot for work. Though sadly, I've never been able to quite fit into his suitcase w\o him noticing. ^^ But I'd luvluvluv to go.

Back in 1987 my wife and I traveled to Northern Ireland to do a two week missions project for a seminary class I was taking. We ministered in the Sion Mills area. When that was completed we traveled by ferry over to Scotland and spent the night in Wiggtown visiting with missionaries who ministered there. We then traveled by bus down to London where we spent two days as tourists. I would have to say, of all the places I have visited in Europe, I would really like to spend a little more time in the UK. Such a beautiful place and the people were very warm and hospitable to us.
