I've been stuck in South Carolina all my life! It's a nice state, yet very tech lacking and all of the businesses are moving out like I probably will be after college.

I've been living in Alabama for a few years now. This isn't my home state; neither is it the only state I've lived in other than my home state.

I have lived all of my life in the great state of Virginia (in the United States).
I love it here, and I plan to stay in northern Virginia after I graduate from college. Am I the only person who likes where they live?

Are You Saying Louisiana Isn't A State!!!!!!!!
PostPosted: Sat Dec 13, 2003 3:31 pm

umm...no. What gave you that idea?
Louisiana is a state. It shows a lot of state pride when you can't spell your state's name right.

Right now I live in Virginia, but I am actually from Florida. Virginia is pretty, but it'll never be home to me. I can't get used to this common wealth or the ridiculous weather...I miss my home *sniff*

Really? How so? Is your family moving, or are you doing an exchange program, etc.
Any way, I'm a Lone Star guy myself. What other state was a separate country, can, at any time, become up to 5 states, or, if it so chooses, separate from the union?
I'll probably move south-east after college, staying in Texas.
Texas. It's like a whole other country.

australia, the place i live in, is one weird country. especially my school. on one side it rains pretty much dogs and cats, but the other side it's not even raining; more like hot summer days. so i can sit in one classroom and see two windows on two different sides and experience a 'dual weather' thing. absolutely weird.

I'm glad I'm not the only one here who lives in Virginia. I can't say I agree with your dislike for the state, but I suppose we all have a special love for our home.

I live in the oh so lovely state of Mississippi. The only problem I have with it is that by a little adding and a whole lot of subtraction, the state has become "sissy".

lol!, really?! now adays if you do a whole lot of adding and some subtracting from mine you get. . . "Cajun". . . . . . not wait it's allways been like that! ^_^
