At any rate, that is a horribly inaccurate definition. It ignores all of the anime that is not set in the future, or full of sex/violence.

I looked up that definition about a month ago because people kept asking me what anime was XD So then I'm like, darn.

And dictionary.com doesn't have the word hentai (at least not without signing up for the extended dictionary for 20 bucks or whatever). However, using google I have found the following site: http://www.onelook.com
You type in a word and it searches a bunch of online dictionaries and links you to results sorted by catergory.

For example, I never would have found out the non-edible meaning of "lemon" if I hadn't scrolled through about 30 definitions on that site till I got to "slang: 1 entry"

That is so incredibly bogus. Whoever wrote that dictionary must have never actually seen the anime themselves. RRRRR.... Things like that make me angry. And you wouldn't like me when I'm angry. just kidding! It is kinda stupid though.

Maybe it wasn't originally an English word, but we "discovered" it, just like the conquistadors "discovered" America.

Heh... I first found out the meaning of the 'non-edible lemons' several years ago on http://www.fanfiction.net by clicking on the wrong link... From now on I make sure I know the meaning of ANY slang terms before clicking out of curiousity.
