Operation Penny Pincher

Postby Locke » Sat Dec 06, 2003 8:39 pm

ok my church is doing this thing called Operation Penny Pincher

were we have these buckets and have to fill them with ONLY pennys

any other coin is deducted from your total coinage and whichever team has the most, the church doubles!! :dizzy:

but its a competion to the kids and we had some things happen

like kids blocking the buckets, hiding them, etc

and my team has let the girls put in dollars and quarters in

BUT WE SHALL PREVAIL!!

it ends tommorow

and we have stockpiled $35 in pennies!!

o yea its for a needy family and we give them a christmas!!

Sounds like an interesting thing to do. If you have 32.00 dollars in pennies, you have a lot of pennies. Keep it up.

Sounds like a good idea for a fundraiser. I suppose it wouldn't be appropriate to slip 20's into other people's buckets to ensure victory. ;) You make the call.
