YES!
They finally caught one of these "I'm a banker in Nigeria" spammers! I don't think he's gonna get out of jail any time soon.

YES!!!!! I'm so happy to see this! I've gotten this spam at both my e-mail accounts and via regular mail, and someone was spamming the board I mod with it. Ugh.
I'm happy to see that one of these scammers is in jail where he belongs. Hopefully, they don't let him have access to the computers.

I'm sure there are hundreds of copycats for them to catch, though... I mean, there will always be people to capitalize on stupidity... I actually got spammed by a 14 year old kid in the "EBAY account" scam... I noticed his e-mail was on aol, so I reported him to them... and to ebay... And I talked to him on AIM and he said he did it because he liked laughing at people who were stupid enough to fall for it... I told him he was going to be arrested for his "fun game" but he just told me off, so I copied the convo and sent it to AOL...
Don't ever trust e-mail for something like that... Ebay isn't gonna lose your account, and even if they did you wouldn't find out by getting an e-mail... IF they lost your account, how would they still have your e-mail? That makes no sense... But a lot of people who aren't computer litereate don't think about those things and fall for the traps... I wish I could tell everyone don't give your credit card, telephone number, SSN, address, Name, or any other info to a website you linked to through e-mail...
