What church do you go to?

Talk about anything in here.

St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church. I'm sure there are many others with the same title.

Southside Community Church. It's non-denomination, but was previously Baptist in it's earlier years.

I'm Reformed Presbyterian also.
In Jackson I attend North Park Presbyterian Church, but am a member of my church back at home, Grace OPC (Orthodox Presbyterian Church).

Restoration Church, DFW. On Friday nights I go to a Chinese baptist church for fellowship and Bible study.
I wish, grasping the cross on my chest,
That in the morning, hope will rain down on you
That at night, a gentle light will envelop you
And give you the courage to face tomorrow.

Geesh, am I the only Pentecostal? I go to the First Pentecostal Holiness Church. I'd say we're really not too charismatic, though.
"So David said to Michal, "It was before the LORD, who chose me instead of your father and all his house, to appoint me ruler over the people of the LORD, over Israel. Therefore I will play music before the LORD. And I will be even more undignified than this, and will be humble in my own sight. But as for the maidservants of whom you have spoken, by them I will be held in honor."

2 Samuel 6: 21&22

"I am going to take this bucket of water and pour it on the flames of hell, and then I am going to use this torch to burn down the gates of paradise so that people will not love God for want of heaven or fear of hell, but because He is God."

Nope! Lightbringer and I go to a Pentecostal church too. While I don't necessarily believe everything stated in the Pentecostal doctrine, the church I go to most fits my beliefs - especially in the area of worship.

Greetings y'all,

I'm a newbie here, so I guess some introductions are in order. My name is Jose, and I'm from New Castle, DE. While at home, I attend the Vineyard Christian Fellowship in Kemblesville, PA. It's very much a Spirit-filled, revival-pursuing, closely-knit church. I also attend Portland Bible College in Portland, OR, and on Sunday mornings, I've been attending services at City Bible Church, but Sunday nights I attend a Vineyard congregation in the city (reminds me of my church). Looking forward to interacting some more with y'all, mata ne!

Peace,

Jose

Jose, why not open your own thread in the Welcome Area so we can say hi to you formally? :)

At one time I called myself a pentacostal. And I will admit I agree with there denomination more then most others. My main issue against most Pentacostal churches is the same issue I have with all other denominational Churches. 2 things. 1. Attitude, I once heard a Calvary Chapel(this is just an example, I am well aware that CC Churches are not Pentacostal persay) Preacher say in a serious tone. Man I am glad were the right ones. All those other misguided Christians. If you start thinking you are better then another Christian because of what Church on what side of town you go to...you need to be reminded. Jesus was not a Baptist, Methodist, Pentacostal or any other set denomination. Also #2. When people start placing there denominational belifes over Christ Himself...which trust me...happens. That annoys me as well. For now I go to a rather small Pentacostal church. I hope someday I can find a nice Church that tends to be more Christ centered then denomination centered.
