I just had a dream this morning.

We were sneaking through some kind of Chinese warehouse, and i peeked inside one of their lanterns and found a siamese triplet!!! I asked her if anyone lived there besides her and all the other spirit lanterns and she said no, but that the Pharaoh would be coming to town tomorrow to execute my sister. I said i knew and had some kind of plan.

The rest of the dream was me and my friends getting our ninja gear together and fighting in some kind of sandy arena death trap. I think we won, but i woke up a little too soon and the dream was getting too vague to tell by the end.

Would that be Klingon Birds of Prey? ;)

I'm sorry, but I have to say that this is really mean. People who cut themselves have serious issues and are hurting deeply inside. They need love not chainsaws. I'm sorry, but even as a joke, your statement is very very inconsiderate. Especially since I know people and have friends who struggle with this issue. :( Though you probably didn't mean any harm, I just thought I should mention how hurtful your statement could come off to others.

Anyway, I shall not distract from the original intention of the thread.

I've had nightmares of being attacked by monsters, but my most horrific dreams are the ones that hurt my heart. Such as dreams about my father dying, or people I know and love hurting me, me hurting other people I love. I've woke up from dreams like these crying, sensing that there was some truth to them. :( Oddly though, whenever dad dies in a dream, he tends to "surprise" us somehow. Once or twice he came back to life, and I recall once he e-mailed us from heaven. (my dad is alive in real life, just so you know.)

I would have to say it would be the one where my family turned into some kind of vampires/zombies.

Apparently there was some kind of disease going around town (Or maybe the whole country?). And first it would cause the people to die (Just fall over and die) and then a minute later they would come back to life.
They would then go from just one person to the next, trying to kill them and make them ...whatever they are.
It finally reached my family, first my Mom and Dad, then my sisters. So I was all alone and scared stiff from what might happen to me. I remember that my family...they weren't fully under the disease, but they definitely were not themselves. So they were holding me captive, just watching me to make sure I didn't run away.
All I did was sit in the corner of the room and just sob at the loss of my family, knowing I couldn't bring them back.

I just woke up from a dream where i was Robocop, but as the dream progressed i was just a person pretending to be robocop, and i got on an elevator with an upside down floor and no walls. My kid was running around and i was afraid she was going to trip on the floor and fall through the gaps along the side and down the elevator shaft.

Then i was trying to take a shower but instead of having a shower curtain there were beach towels hanging from the curtain rod, and they kept falling down. Not only that, but instead of a porcelain tub, it was lined with tiles, and the grout between the tiles had fallen out and the fiberglass frame under it had gotten soft and the tub was falling apart with me in it, and i was trying to put it back together with the water running and hoping no one was going to walk in. Think i was clothed too, which just adds more bizarrity.

Recently I had a pretty severe nightmare in which I was walking through my dorm hallway looking for survivors of a violent attack. All of the doors were opened, and there was blood and shot people everywhere. It was really scary, but that's not even the worst part...

I ended up under my bed hiding from the shooter. He sat on the bed and started talking; I thought maybe he was talking to himself and didn't know I was there, but then he leaned over and grinned at me. He pointed the gun at my head and was sort of mocking me, and I was so scared - but then I had an adrenaline rush and grabbed the gun in my own hands, pointed it at him, and shot. A hole appeared on his head, but he was still alive and functioning - he seemed kind of ticked off - he started laughing, saying, "You shouldn't have done that, you shouldn't have done that!"

It was a really weird and scary dream. When I woke up, I felt really upset. I have bad nightmares when I'm stressed sometimes, but that's the worst one I can remember.

The night before I had a big test at the hospital, I had a dream where I was walking down a long corridor in a hospital setting. As I was walking, I kept passing really pale children walking in the other direction --some with parents, some without.

And that was the dream. It kind of freaked me out.

My worst dream was one where I was able to see the terrors of Hell like I was there. The flames burned blue and white, and that was the only light anywhere. There was screaming all over the place, and no one was able to escape. I was eventually seeing my hometown after awhile.

There r many bad dreams that I have had, but if I could guess and choose the worst one, I would have to say- the worst dream I have had was when I had seen dead bodies all around me and there was blood everywhere. I think I had a dream about the Rapture... I had this dream when I was 8 or 9 I think... It was scary- I barely knew about the Rapture then- it was rly weird... Now the worst dream I have had now is when my enemy who used 2 b my best friend was beating me up- until I was bleeding so much I couldn't get up and stand for myself.... It still makes me wonder why I didn't defend myself in the dream...
I am falling in love with my own worst enemy- Kiyora from Forbidden :) my series

i had a dream i was in a psych ward and they were using the patients as experiments. i was to be harvested for my organs but kept alive for later tests. i thought it was pretty cool though...didn't turn out well in the end. it was a struggle of me trying to save not only myself but also the other patients who actually weren't even insane or sick. in the end they killed off/caught the others and i was running towards the exit but they had it blocked and caught me and strapped me to a bed...i woke up with a sense of "OH WELL."

i've also had a similar dream but it actually made me scream myself awake for about 10mins because it freaked me out. i was going some place with friends and someone in a van kidnapped us and took us to a CLEAN SO VERY CLEAN basement that was white and just...SO CLEAN. they were also kidnapping animals and pretty much sewing them to humans just to see how things would turn out. some women were just being used to be bred with some animals again to see the outcome. men were at times sewn with the animals or used as burning fuel. one of the scary things were that no one spoke english so i was unable to understand what was going on. some how i managed to escape while being slightly cut up and found my dad parked just outside of the building i was under. i was trying to tell him what was going on but i couldn't speak...i couldn't even scream. he seemed disappointed that i escaped. when i noticed his disappointment, i was trying even harder to scream...that's when i woke up screaming.

"The advice I like to give young artists, or really anybody who’ll listen to me, is not to wait around for inspiration. Inspiration is for amateurs; the rest of us just show up and get to work. If you wait around for the clouds to part and a bolt of lightning to strike you in the brain, you are not going to make an awful lot of work. All the best ideas come out of the process; they come out of the work itself. Things occur to you. If you’re sitting around trying to dream up a great art idea, you can sit there a long time before anything happens. But if you just get to work, something will occur to you and something else will occur to you and something else that you reject will push you in another direction. Inspiration is absolutely unnecessary and somehow deceptive. You feel like you need this great idea before you can get down to work, and I find that’s almost never the case." - Chuck Close[/color]

When I was a kid, I always used to have vivid dreams of a monster that looked just like me pinning me down and beating me.

I once had a dream that I was at a movie theater bathroom. I was going to watch my hands, and there were three soap containers. I used all 3 of them, and when the soap landed on my hands, it started to form numbers, but they kept changing as my body absorbed them.

I had a suspicion (as I'm sure you do) as to what the numbers were, so I squeezed the soap onto the tile, and when the numbers gathered, they settled on 666.

That was one of the worst dreams I ever had.

One dream I have involves me trying to talk to someone and they don't listen so I shake them and yell. My parents were never abusive, and I haven't even seen much of that sort of thing, but I still am afraid that I could become like that someday, if I just got too angry or frustrated.

The emotion in dreams doesn't always line up with the content, however. One dream I had was incredibly scary, but it only consisted of the color green and this muffled buzzing sound. Another one, even scarier than that, only really consisted of the exact sound that it makes in the Matrix when Neo takes the pill, as the silver is going down his throat, except I had that dream years prior to watching it. It actually scared me when I watched it because I remembered the dream.

In contrast, I have had many dreams about Silent Hill or something similar, and I didn't feel any fear in the dream.

I've had many, many bad dreams I wouldn't be able to repeat here.

My dream was about me being an extra on the sets of music video making of Rihanna. I was really happy all the way until we had Justin Beiber and Rebbeca Black come along, It was a badass nightmare.

Lol, imagine the two come together.

I had a dream we were at an AMC watching this weird movie, then the Jonas Brothers randomly showed up, with thousands of girls in the theater screaming. Plus the bleeding ears.

I recently had a dream were I kept trying to run from some random unnamed person who wanted to kill me. It didn't matter where I went, he would always find me and he'd kill anyone who tried to help me. I guess it wasn't the worst dream I've ever had, but it was pretty creepy. I also appeared to be mute for some reason in the dream. I wouldn't even try to scream or talk because I knew I couldn't.

I had a dream this morning that my boyfriend suddenly e-mailed me to tell me he was engaged to another girl, and they were coming to my church to meet everybody. It was so nonchalant and happy it was like he didn't even think I should be hurt, and anticipated congratulations. I can't express the awful emotions I was feeling. It doesn't sound like much of a nightmare, but it definitely ranks in the top 10 worst dreams I've ever had.

The worst dream I ever had was when I dreamed that I woke up feeling really cold and saw Satan(Lucifer) standing besides my bed.
I remember screaming but noone could hear me....
It got worse, some things that I cannot say.
I have had that dream about 2 times a week. It's the worst dream on earth.

Some advice for you Sarah. If it happens again, say a prayer to Jesus. According to St. Paul, even Satan has to kneel before Jesus's name. Maybe he'll get the hint.

Ah... probobly should not have read these b4 going to bed. oooh shoot.
Sarah, keep a St. Benedict meadal on your windowsill. It WILL keep demons out. also, sprinkle blessed salt in the corners of your bedroom. It hurts them very badly. i have had many horrible dreams. my worst one was that i was in my backyard, and there was all these zombie-like men laying on the ground. they were all begging me to help them. i helped a few, and they were taunting me like "be afraid. see our dripping oozing wounds...etc.) so i tried to run away, sure that they could never keep up with me...but soon..somthing grabbed my ankle, i started to fall on my face, then i woke up.

Or you could pray, like rocklobster said. Rebuke a demon in the name of Jesus Christ; that's the only thing that has Biblical precedent for being effective. Prayer and fasting.

I had another unpleasant dream last night, but I can't remember what it was, thank God.
