I think that a crossover with "old" and "modern" Sonic is a cool idea.

Where's all the color in the stages?

And the Sonic Cycle begins again.

I wonder if it will involve time travel like Sonic CD.

The phrase "not optimistic" comes to mind.

Trailer looks kinda cool, but its all CGI so of course we have no idea what the real game will be like yet. And is that...sonic's SON!?!? O_O. cue lots of fandom whining in five..four..three...

And what the heck happened to Sonic 4 episodes 2 and 3? Why don;t they finish the game they started, before releasing another one?? Whatever, Sonic Colors was good, so maybe they can keep it up with this one.

Although I haven't played a Sonic games in AGES (Sonic Heroes would be the last one) this MIGHT persuade me to pick it up again.

I tried to figure out what kind of references those were supposed to be (if they were references...). The only game I got out of that was Sonic Spinball.
And that was fun.
Also, I don't think that's Sonic's son. That's the original design, more or less.

meh is my response to this. From what i got of the trailer that was old sonic, from the good games and the other sonic was from the new terrible games

Dang. Well, that made my day anyways.

Everyone should watch SirRonLionheart's LPs. There's some I can't stand (the Zelda ones and most of the RPG ones) but the Sonic ones are FANTASTIC.

Also if you go back and watch episode 1 of his Super Mario 64 LP, then say, episode 20 or so, then episode 100, the differences are amazing.

You play the old sonic design it's like the old games. If you play as the new design it plays like one of the new ones. Looks like they are trying to please everyone.

I like Sonic and this new game seems to be better than his latest games.

I really like it that you can play as classic and modern sonic. It makes sense that it is that way because he is now 2 decades old (20 almost now...)
It does targets the fans who like the classic and the modern gaming.

I'm looking forward to this. Hope I get a chance to play it.

Looks pretty cool. Like what "Sonic 4" should have been. Sure I'll probably like playing as modern Sonic more than classic sonic though.
