Not sure if this was the right place to put this, but...
Anyone who knows either Professor Layton, or Phoenix Wright will love this game. For those who don't; let me give you a brief summary.
Professor Layton: Famous puzzle solver, he is known all over his game world, and currently travels the world, (And time stream!) with his apprentice, a boy named Luke.
Phoenix Wright: Lawyer, defender of Truth, Grape Juice drinking Hobo, (While also defender of truth.) He is famous more for his games on the Nintendo DS, then for the games on the GBA (In Japan they released these games on the GBA.).
What happens when the two world's combine? You get this!

Two words:
DO. WANT.
(P.S. This should be in the gaming forum.)

O_O
You know, I didn't really want a 3DS, but now, man, I dunno. That looks pretty special.

Hey who wants the better quality full 3 minute trailer?
Well here you go then. :3

Why is this so awesome? Level 5 (and Nintendo) is going to have all my money and my fangirl soul soon enough. XD;
I find it a bit interesting they are keeping both animation styles from either game. And the trailer music is fantastic.

That second MP3 sounds like the orchestral arrangement from the Gyakuten Meets Orchestra concerts.
EDIT: it is! It's "Ryuuichi Naruhodou ~ Objection!" on both albums, track 1 on Gyakuten Meets Orchestra and track 13 on Gyakuten Meets Orchestra 2008.

I'm all over /v/ so that's where I keep getting everything from. Here is what appears to be a translation of the video...I dunno Japanese so beats me how accurate it is but it looks legit.
Layton: The one who threw this city into disorder using her powers of magic, is you!
Girl: You're wrong. I am not a witch.
Layton: If that is so, then how did you know the contents of a book there is no way you read?
Phoenix: Objection!
Phoenix: Professor, there is a great contradiction in your argument!
Strange incidents are occuring in "Labyrinth City"
An archaeology professor vs. a lawyer. A shocking incident that challenges both of them
Witch Trails
Luke: What's written in this book is becoming true.
Maya: No way this is happening!
The creator of everything who rules the city
The ultimate culprit, "Storyteller"
Girl: I will surely be killed. It said so in the book.
Phoenix: I will not let things happen the way they're in the book.
Layton: Mr. Wright.
Layton: It seems we had a great misunderstanding.
Hershel Leyton
Phoenix Wright
A shocking collaboration
Layton: Luke, doing the right thing is not limited to keeping the law.
Phoenix: Honestly, he can't be satisfied easily, that Silk Hat.
Professor Layton vs. Ace Attorney
Level 5 x Capcom
This time the riddles are filled with contradictions

Son of a--
I KNEW IT.
The 3DS better be region free like the DS Lite or I'm gonna be really really mad.
Edit: Go comment
here and maybe Capcom will listen.

What are you talking about? This is great news. Now you don't have to buy a 3DS.
Do what you want 'cuz a pirate is free.

Somehow I don't think it's going to be so easy to pirate 3DS games.

Also, there is the hurdle that you'll be playing レイトン教授VS逆転裁判.

That is a significant hurdle.

But not one we can't overcome, amirite, Nette? 8D
But honestly, if the 3DS ends up being region free, I will get this in Japanese. Otherwise, I hope and pray that it will someway, somehow be up for sale in the states. :<

I wouldn't dream of leaving you behind. I would need help translating the kanji in the game.

Meh, every company has said that about their games/systems. Yet they always seem to get easily cracked and pirated.
Well, aside from the Saturn, but that's more because the Saturn was so haphazardly thrown together that it's difficult to emulate. I doubt the 3DS will be the same way.
It'll probably take a while to crack the 3DS and create a working emulator, but they'll have it working soon enough.

Oh come on, with a game that popular? There'd be tons of people working on translation patches. Mother 3 got one relatively quickly after all, and that's more of a niche title than this would be.
Aaaaaaaaaaaaaanyway...

"One snag though. The game has only been announced for Japan. Want it available outside of Japan? Shout out in the comments! The more comments we get for this blog post, the better!"
If you want this game in America, you should go to that link (it is Capcom's official blog) and post a comment stating that you want it. It won't guarantee that the game will come here, but showing Capcom support will definitely help matters.

Truly, the crossover of our generation.
Okay, people. Decision time: Layton or Wright? Who is the superior mystery solver? Who wins?

I haven't played any of the Layton games yet so I really can't give an unbiased opinion. XD
