CAA: Christian Anime Alliance

So after quitting WoW for some time, I decided to get into Guild Wars to get my online RPG Fix. I'm really liking it! It feels somewhat similar to WoW, but I never have that nagging obligation to play it. XD

My character is a level 7 Elementist/Mesmer in Prophecies. (I also have Factions and Nightfall too XD) Does anybody else play? I know that Omega Amen at least used to play. XD

I play it quite alot lately. My strongest char is a lv.15 assassin/ranger. But my second best is a warrior/ranger lv.9 in prophecies. So if you need my char name and want to play sometime just ask me. okay ^^

Every now and then. I got helplessly stuck on main quests in both Prophecies *and* Nightfall, without any real hope of ever beating them, so I'm not as into it as I used to be.

I have a level 18 mesmer and level 20 dervish, by the way.

My roomie has become hopelessly addicted within the last month. He was mooching my old basic account but got all three for Christmas from his wife. I suppose I could give it a second shot.

I have a level 20 Warrior / Monk.

But he's pretty normal. I have finished all the missions in Prophecies but not all the quests there. I am stuck on a couple of the really later ones, and because they take a few hours to do, I don't usually get around to trying.

But would be interested to add you guys to my friends list.

I do play it a lot. The thing is though I do not have a lot of time to play games. So if I wanted to complete some single player games, like I am doing right now, I am not logged in Guild Wars for a few weeks.

But I will come back to it since I am so invested in the franchise. I really like the fantasy universe they created and I want to know more about it. I have finished Prophecies, and made serious progress in Factions and Nightfall. I want to finish those before I go to Eye of the North. And if I finish that before Guild Wars 2 comes out, I will explore the PvP aspect since apparently that is the really big appealing aspect of this franchise.

If I feel a nagging obligation to any game, it becomes a chore to me rather than a fun experience. That is why I am glad Guild Wars is a great online RPG experience without the subscription.

I started playing last night, and so far I really like it. I'm a Ranger/Necromancer, by the way. The thing I want to know is, is there a more of an "online" component to it besides PvP? I mean the instanced explorable areas are cool, but if the only online stuff is during PvP they should have made it an online/offline RPG like Diablo :p

Well if you can find a group the PvE can be really fun. I'm more of a PvE guy myself. the only problem is that some of the missions that are less popular have next to no one there, for example sunjiang district yesterday there was one guy there, and he was afk, so I had to get on my newb necromancer(going to be an MM someday) and played for a while until a couple hours later when there were more people on

That reminds me, I logged into this game a couple of days ago and discovered that there was some new content called "War in Kryta". It's about the battles between the White Mantle and the Shining Blade.

Additionally, I have some spare weapon parts that you can take off me if you're interested.

Yeah... I stopped playing. lol sorry!

The last time I got one was two weeks ago. I need to get back on. lol XP
