Japanese catapults game

A friend of mine has been telling us about a game he played, where you travel everywhere by getting shot there by catapults, and the main character is the only person who thinks this is a bad idea, everyone else thinks it's a perfectly fine idea. He said it was only released in Japan, but he had a ROM for it, but doesn't know the name for. Can anyone else help?
