Haha...I used to play the MMO Star Wars Galaxies a few years back and canceled my account because the game really got boring...but a couple weeks ago, the company or w/e emailed me saying that they gave me a free 1-month subscription and they reactivated my account. So I decided to hop on to see what changes they had made to the game or if there were any familiar faces still playing and...

Wow...the game has totally gone down the drain even more than it did before! No one like plays the game anymore and now everyone seems to be a jedi, lol. But you can have creatures again! <---only cool thing

Did anyone else used to or still play SWG and did any of you get this same free 1-month subscription?

*claps* Very true, the game mechanics are terrible, and yes I also did play the game. I think I have about like a 4 and a half year old account.
But, it isn't anything special anymore, not like it used to. If you enjoy roleplaying Star Wars, I suggest that be the only reason to play this game. Roleplaying with a community that is. Otherwise, beware of a terrible MMO.

I recently quit the game as well, over the past couple of years I have been on and off of the game, never seemed to get better. Only thing that increased everyone became Jedi.

The combat in the game ain't what it once was for sure.
SWG = a stay away title, for bad Mechanics.
