Ever want to see the girls of Dead or alive and Final Fantasy fight? If you answer was yes that would be freaking epic then you have come to the right place. If your answer was No, to much fanservice! a just answer but the fanservice of these videos is pretty well done to stay away from sexual stuff or just all around sketchyness. It is character fan service as in "holy crap that person is in this !" not "Holy crap thats what color underwear she's wearing >_<" I won't say there is no fanservice after all Rikku is in her 10-2 outfit but it no worse that playing a regular round of DOA.

Enjoy and be amazed. Monthyoum (the animater) is waaaaay to talented

First episode was sufficiently epic. Second lost something in translation, but still entertaining.

But Kairi? Kairi?

No. But I will watch videos of random people fighting when they're well done.

Ranged against melee always makes for interesting choreography and this didn't do a bad job of it. It was also nice to see magic integrated into hand to hand combat, something that often isn't done well (Advent Children could have used it, for example). Not as nice was seeing gravity shift about 90 degrees. I don't care how cool it is, that's going to bug me.

Does anyone know how this was made? Once again, the internet leaves me wondering why if individuals can make things like this for fun, why can't professional anime studios put together many decent fights?

Saw this at anime club. My suspension of disbelief survived until the KH girl.

I really liked these videos; they're vastly superior to the Halo/Metroid video he made. Good stuff. Someone needs to hire this individual.

I agree highly. Specially with the odd part at the end of Haloid

This is pretty neat, actually. XD I'm not familiar with any of the DOA girls, but it was fun to see the familiar FF faces. The inclusion of Rinoa (with Squall's gunblade) was pretty sweet, and it was neat to see how Tifa's magic was animated.

And then...Kairi? lolwut? XD If they were just shooting for a random Square Enix character (as Kairi isn't a Final Fantasy character), they should have gone with Kid, from Chrono Cross. Plus, Kairi like...never fights. XD So that makes no sense. The videos are otherwise well-made, though. And this is a fan work? Impressive.

Wow... that was pretty awesome. The second was a bit long and Kairi seemed out of place, but it was still fun to watch. I also wonder why anime studios are unable to make the fights as good as this...

What, I ask you, is the point if it's not Master Chief? That's right, I didn't spoiler tag it. I don't care. Now I can't take the FFvDOA video seriously. Same with the post-credits thing... it's funny but his motives are terribly suspect.

WOW.....If this person learned all this by him/herself without classes or college courses...!!!

Hmm, I hope we don't see another ridiculous dance number at the end of the Dead Fantasy series.

And may I also say that I disapprove of Rinoa having Squall's gunblade as well as Rachel appearing at all (I know it's an all-girl cast, but I would have vastly preferred Ryu Hayabusa). I would have liked to have seen Paine, though. I mean, it would make sense given Yuna and Rikku's FFX-2 outfits. I wouldn't have wanted her in Tifa's place, however. I also think Kairi's inclusion was rather silly. Last I checked, she wasn't exactly much of a fighter. I'd really like to see Rikku use the Machina Maw dressphere, because it would add an extra dynamic to the fight. It would force the animator to branch out, because it couldn't move like a human.

No General Beatrix. I demand this be remedied.

What, you were assuming something else would happen once all of them face off individually?

That > Kairi

What would have been cool would be to bring someone from one of the original games to 3D. Rydia for example. Or even a female!WhiteMage.

No, I'm assuming that that's EXACTLY what's going to happen. XD

I shall also (third?) the motion for General Beatrix, even if I haven't played FFIX. She looks far and away more awesome than Kairi. There's also the actually-being-a-combat-oriented-character thing, as well. I mean, on the one hand you have an adolescent girl who's been largely a damsel in distress. Then . . . you have a general. Seriously, who would you pick to back you up in a fight?

P.S. Actually, a female!cast (because that's the only way it would be in the series) from the original game would be interesting as another team. It'd probably be Fighter/Knight-Black Mage/Wizard-White Mage/Wizard, but I'd want Red Wizard-Knight-Master (Black Belt upgrade), myself.
