This is for today, Jan. 12th only. Because it's the Pokemon game director's birthday, there is a rare phenomenon of "diamond dust" up at Snowpoint City in the Diamon and Pearl games. It's really cool, but it's for today only.

Crazy that they programed such an event in like that. I wonder if it's just for this year or it it can happen this day, every year.

Hm...I'm guessing it's a once a year thing. But still, it's pretty cool. I stumbled upon it this morning without knowing that it was the special "gift" from the game director. I was just like, "Oh, I've never seen this snow before! Or have I? I don't remember it snowing in this city...oh well. It's still pretty."

Couldn't you set your DS to this day at any time and view this when you wanted to?

Too bad I missed out on that . I wish they would have Arsus catchable.

G9.0: My brother's guess is that it's probably going to be released with a movie here in America...after all, Darkrai events are probably going to be done here in America this year, what with the movie release and all. Next year should be Shaymin (can't wait!! Eeee!! ^.^), followed by Arceus the year after. If that's the case, then they must be really expecting these games to last a super long time (not that they wouldn't, of course. And it's always good to have new content in a game for years to come.)

I think you could go back to January 12th to see if it's there...basically, it's sparkling snow.

Yeah, I checked this out on my game the other day. It wasn't that big of a deal, but the snow WAS pretty. XD Too bad it's not like that all of the time...

Hmm, interesting. Hopefully they could do it like that or hold a event and have some sort of special DS pack that comes with the next Pokemon film, that way Arsus could be caught two ways.
