Emulation on Cell Phones was bound to happen eventually... My PSP allready does that, and much more effectively than on that micro screen...
If Sony comes out with a PSP phone... I will curl into a ball and cry. They have a bad enough rep without calling on the essence of the Ngage... Now, VoIP is different... That makes it more a cheap laptop that plays decent games, once again. I'm wondering, are those two little holes on the face of the PSP mics? They're not speakers, those are on the bottom, but they are the same size and shape as the speakers... Hmm...
As for that VG cats thing, I take my PSP with me everywhere... It's my:
Flash Drive (though I must admit, carrying the usb cord is cumbersome)
Movie Watcher
Picture viewer (and I share pictures with others this way, too)
PSP game player
Portable emulation station
PS1 game player (though PS1 emulation is less than on PS2, with about 90% that work, I think...)
The Slimline PSP that's coming out is fine and dandy, but until they crack the firmwares on that thing, it's useless to me. Particularly for the PS1 emulation abilities... When the PS3 makes good on its promised PS1 ripping utility (the legit, sony made one I heard about last E3), then I'll consider going to the official firmware... Until then, I just have to wait for Dark Alex to keep up with Sony.
