Read the thread title and thats his opinion.

I will definately be getting this.

I ignored IV and V Advanced but not this.

Do you think the difficulty will be decreased?

There was no difficulty setting in the original game, (I don't believe so anyway) unlike FF4.

FFVI was excellent (plot kinda lags in the second half, though), but there's another Final Fantasy I'd rather see re-released...

I should hope not -- the original game was far too easy.

I think the intrawebs would explode if an anime game even came close to being "teh best game evers."

I can't wait for FFVI Advance to say the least.

Agreed. Kefka went down so easy in the original version it wasn't funny.

Most Final Fantasy games tend to be quite easy. Just level a lot. =p

Yeah, but FFVI was the first FF game to be TRULY ridiculously easy. A few castings of Ultima and Kefka goes down. That's just absurd. You can't do that with Exdeath or Zeromus.

Yeah I'll agree to that. Nonetheless Kefka is still the coolest boss ever. :P

Meh. I think Rhapthorne from Dragon Quest VIII is better. And actually hard.

No, I was just disappointed how they destroyed FFI and II on GBA by making it so easy.

What? I haven't had to actually grind in any Final Fantasy game except the original, with the exception of working on optional bosses, and of course, Final Fantasy XI

Edit: To be fair, I haven't played FF2(j) or FF3(j)

Same here, I've never had to stay in one spot and simply level up in a Final Fantasy game, just going from one area to the next was enough. Compare that to say, Dragon Quest, where if you don't stick around in one spot for an hour and level up, you're going to get destroyed.

Final Fantasy II (since you said you haven't played it) doesn't have levels, but your stats increased or decreased depending on your actions in battle. So of course, everyone spends the first few battles beating up their own party members to increase their defense and HP. Which is one reason why I hated FFII.

Oh, and also the fact that in the final dungeon of FFII, the enemies were super strong but had low levels. So if you fought them it would actually make you weaker.

Errr... that's not what I meant. But somehow I made it sound like that.

What I meant was that things that are somewhat difficult (ie a Final Boss, Optional Boss, etc) can be easier simply by grinding a few levels. Yes most Final Fantasy games can be beaten by just going through the flow of the game.
