What was the hardest part in any game you've ever played? I have no clue what mine was.

Hmm...
Goldeneye - Getting Invinciblity Cheat
Super Metroid - Defeating Ridley (while speedrunning in < 45 minutes in particular)
Abadox - the first level
Doom2 - Map30 (similar for Evilution and Plutonia Project)
Metroid Prime 2 - Emperor Ing

I have no idea what any of those are.
I guess Gannon on Windkwaker was pretty hard, but not as hard as the other Zeldas. The other Zeldas - the gameboy ones in particular, are really hard.

Collecting all of the figments in Psychonauts...I still haven't done that, actually. >>;; Freaking Black Velvetopia.

I've had many. A few that come to mind being those Power Boosts challenges on
Mario Kart DS (namely the one where you have to do 14 in one lap) and Dracula's final form in
Castlevania (even with save states it was ridiculous).
Metroid Prime 2 - Emperor Ing
AAHH!!! Why did you remind me? >.<

So I kind of fail, but...
The hardest part of a video game that I've come across is Adel, from Final Fantasy VIII. Um...Yeah. I spent two weeks trying to beat her, and when I finally did, I accidentally deleted my game. XD;;; 'Course, I did defeat her again eventually, but...only after I fully discovered the benefits of the junction system...*spent that first two weeks trying to beat Adel with Squall at 680-something HP*
*cough*

I think collecting the triforce shards on windwaker was just annoying, not hard.

Suffering through the horrid voice acting of Star Fox Assault had to be by far harder than any other thing I've had to go through in any video game ever.

Getting the invincibility cheat in Goldeneye was tough, I second that one.
Beating the final (final) boss, with the bracelet on Super Ghouls and Ghosts.
Any of the Challenge Mode stuff on any of the DDR games.
Pretty much beating any side scrollers from 8 or 16 bit eras: Contra, Super R-Type, Rush'n'Attack, etc.

How ironic. I found that boss TOO easy. Just use Kamikaze after depleting 10,000 damage or so. Then again, you must defeat Jumbo Cactuar first which is a hidden, optional boss.
I find almost every other boss in Xenosaga Episode I to be hard to an extreme level.

Yeah, I waited until after I beat Adel to get Cactuar. XD And the whole, "Try not to hurt Rinoa while you attack Adel" made things more difficult, too...The time I beat her, I actually had a calculator and a piece of notebook paper with me, so I could keep track of how often I needed to heal Rinoa after using certain attacks. XD I still know what Rinoa's HP level was to this day...7056. XD
So yeah, it would seem that math
does have a purpose, after all.

hardest thing ever is the last boss in Xenogears that was increadably hard
steamwood in Brave fencer Musashi
omega weapon in final fantasy 5
the 4,5 levels of the orginal NES Ninja Gaiden still havnt beet that game
That super gouls and goast thing we were right there but couldnt quit kill the second beast.
and right now the final boss of Valkrie profile 2 because he is really hard so I think I will go level up probably dosnt help that every one is weak against him except the main character.

Putting up those cursed posters in KHII.
Crossing a river to get to the other side in FFVII(no joke).
Beating Sephiroth with *only* Vincent the uncontrollable frog in your team in FFVII.
Getting to the treehouse in Tarzan and defeating Clayton.
Some track in Spyro was really hard. My sister stopped playing the game because she couldn't do it.

I hated trying to beat Sephiroth in KH.

Really.

Hey now. XD FFVIII
was my first Final Fantasy game, after all. I think I had some leeway in how much I sucked at it the first time through. XD And I
also wasn't using a strategy--oh wait, no, I did borrow my friend's guide. But I wasn't...following it very closely...>_>;;

One thing that was hard solely for the frustration factor was in Super Mario RPG. The level where you're in the clouds, trying to climb up to Nimbus Kingdom, there's a part where you have to jump downscreen and grab onto a beanstalk down there to climb up to a secret area.
However, the fact that the 3/4 view makes the jump difficult to perform in the first place, compounded by the fact that if you DO latch onto the vine and press the down button (which 9 times out of 10 you are, since you have to jump in the down direction), makes this jump exceedingly frustrating.
Whoever programmed in that jump should be beaten.

Oh my gosh, yes. Mario RPG. That game had some seriously hard parts. The...Axem Rangers? Man. It took me forever to kill those things. XD Still, I enjoyed the challenges of that game, in spite of how ridiculously hard it was sometimes. XD If only they'd remake it for a different system...

I would hardly call Mario RPG hard. The only trick about that part was trying to wrap the mind around the pseudo-3d-ness of that level and understanding that there were hidden blocks that you could activate to make it easier

I didn't find Mario RPG that hard either. The only battles I ever had a hard time with originally was the final fight in Nimbus (crazy lady with the Dodo) and Smithy's final form.
Heck, I even beat Culex on my first try (thanks to the Geno's Whirlwind trick Xp ).
Suffering through the horrid voice acting of Star Fox Assault had to be by far harder than any other thing I've had to go through in any video game ever.
You've clearly never played
Baten Kaitos.
Which reminds me, defeating the final Malpercio was pretty hard (until I went back and did the sidequests >.>; ).

Beating Dullahan from GS: The Lost Age on hard mode. I still haven't done it. Beat him on normal though.

Apparently you've never played the original Resident Evil or Extermination.
For me, Sephiroth from KH1 jumps to mind. (I beat him at level 40-45 the first time.) Took me roughly a solid half hour.

The first RE made my head explode becuase of the bad voice acting. I can't remember Extermination.

Let's see...
Keeping any interest in Magna Carta...
The DOMO Carrier boss in Xenosaga I (still stuck on that...)
Finding any time to play Final Fantasy XII (I bought the collector's edition the day it came out, and I still haven't played it.)
Not dying as a Level 1 in Phantasy Star Online
Even playing Mega Man X7

Leveling up in FlyFF
I just gave up >_> 2 levels from the class change, and its suuuuuch a pain to grind.
Oh and theres that NES game programmed by the Japanese dude who hates videogames. That game is pretty much impossible.

Half-hour, hah. *points to her two-week story once again* But...I guess that's not something I should be going on about, is it? XD;
