Dragon Quest: Rocket Slime DS

Postby Grave Blossom » Sun Oct 08, 2006 6:42 pm

Now this is a hilarious game! Your main character, strangely is a blue slime. (you all might recongnize this title from the dragon quest series, but it's been taken to a total new level!) but don't be fooled by this little guy, because he can pack a punch! With a colorful backround and a unique battling ability, Dragon Quest: Rocket Slime is a game that will spark your interest and keep you going back for more. It only takes in the game one button, in which you hold it down and streetch the little guy out till he's as tight as a rubber band. Then KABANG! With a sling-shot effect the little guy collides into an enemy, sending them bouncing over the screen. You can also stack enemies upon your back, chuck them into cannons and shoot them out, throw them at each-other, or collect them on your cart back to your main village. As for the tank fights, it's extremely hillarious when the "baddy" (who is fighting you in the other tank) will shoot himself out of his own cannon at your tank. You can simply knock him out of the sky by firing ammo (which various) in return or you can even fire yourself out of your own cannon to his tank! With unique characters that can be unlocked to help you, this is a game that cannot be simply passed up easily and I recommend it for anyone that has a Nintendo DS system.

Language: None was found.
Violence: Plummetting enemies and shooting them out of cannons very low violence, your tank recieves a boo-boo mark if it recieves too much damage.
Religion: None found so far.
Rating of Fun from 1-10: 8.0
Christian Recommendation: I've played this game for atleast 10 minutes so far, and it's quiet fun. So far I have found nothing that is contridicting to the Christian Faith, and this game makes it possible that you can have fun without the violence, vulgar, non-christian religion, or profanity. :thumb:

This game spawns from the Dragon Quest series obviously, and this little slime dude has appeared in all of them. It's nice to see he's got a game of it's own.

I guess the game is okay, especially the tank battles, but there is absolutely NO replay value.
