Steam login problems

As of 11:00 PM last night, I can't seem to log in to my account. Is anyone else having this problem? I just bought Half-Life 2, so I'm more than mildly peeved about this...

first step, have you tried changing the password?
if it's an actual connection issue (firewall & blocked ports) you can check the
steam connection test

Check if windows firewall has it blocked, thats what happened to me.
Did you get the game of the year edition? If you did we got to play some CS or some HL DM (free download off steam).Oh and whats your Steam name? Mine's TehLockes.

Eh, I got it fixed by switching from my onboard network port to my actual card. You'll find me under JesusIsMyAutoAim.
