Dragon Warrior II: Tara's (or Cobi's) adventure
i lended this game to my friend four or five years ago and he just gave it back to me. i'm playing it again and it's a really awesome game. has anyone else played this game before?

It's for GameBoy Color.
And you're refering to a completely different series.
Dragon Warrior is an RPG series that spans across 8 games that are all classic RPGs. However, in Japan they are refered to as Dragon Quest, but the American translated versions were renamed "Warrior." However, the recent release, Dragon Quest VIII, kept the original Japanese name, for reasons unknown on my part.
Dragon Warrior Monster (the spin-off series) is a Pokemon-style RPG and consists of 4 games:
-Dragon Warrior Monster (GB) - I have it and like it better than pokemon.
-Dragon Warrior Monster 2 (GBC)- Tara and Colbi's Adventure (There are two versions and I've played neither)
-Dragon Warrior Monster: Joker (DS)- Brand New. Haven't played.
And you're refering to a completely different series.
