Ok I did some more digging and found this pic.
[spoiler] Apparently orca and balmung were brought into restore tri-edge after the thrashing you gave him at the end of volume 1 (he is in the coffin behind them glaring out at whomever in the pictures in my original post) [/spoiler]
Wonder if a tri-edgified blackrose is going to make an appearence as blackrose of the azure earth.
