Amazing Revo Mock-up...

What if Nintendo actually does create an add-on like this for the Zelda that's being created for Revo?

Any thoughts?

I can't think of anything more fun... what if the add-on's have force feedback?!

I think I'll post more new add-on mock-ups in this thread. just in-case I find any more like this one.

EDIT: Oh, btw, it's just a mock-up. don't read too much into this. It's not real. I'm just asking how fun you think might think a control like this could be, if it were made right. That's all.

Doing force feed back for that kind of thing would be pretty difficult with what I see there. Though I think it'd be kinda interesting.

One would look like a total idiot holding that thing.

Not that Nintendo hasn't already failed by making the Revolution.

Looks to unweildy to properly use, would be fun but would be to worried about it breaking, secondly that addon would cost more then the guitar heroes controller and with the revo being about being cheap price wise I just cant see that working. I think its a good idea but the whole force feedback thing has my doubts.

What I wouldnt mind seeing is a swordfighting game based of the revo controller. With no big sword thing on the end (see above) you wouldnt have to worry about knocking your freinds eye out or getting your face knocked off in the ensuing random sword swings. As I said before I will fear for my safety with some of the revo games...

Interesting. Don't really WANT that, but interesting just the same. XD

And Impact, play before judging, please.

Well, fanboys say it will be good without having played it, so essentially I'm just using the same argument.

Eh, I really don't like the looks of the thing. Big, bulky, could knock stuff over. Not for me.

it looks cool but it would be massivly awkard

It could work!
(If you locked all the doors, got everyone out of the house, made sure no one could see you, played on your knees and removed anything that could be broken from the room.)

Look! Everyone, I. LIKE. Breaking. THINGS!

That is all.[/endlamejoke]

And Impact, you can't say only fanboys will think that's fun. Really, I'm getting sick of that word.

Let's say that I've never played tennis. I think it looks fun. WAIT! I've never tried it! I'm a tennis fanboy, right? Oh no, maybe I'm a fanboy of who created tennis. Is that it?

xD it actually looks dinky to me. The cord between the sword and shield looks waaay too short to allow for any l337 moves

Dude, get over it.

I mean, how dare someone have a different viewpoint than you. AND EXPRESS IT!

I really don't want to get into this, but maybe if I do it civil-like, and no one goes "OH PWNED!!" after I post it, maybe we'll be fine. In other words, please no one go crazy.

I just wanted to point out that it's perfectly alright to voice your own opinion. If you don't like the way the Revolution or this mock-up looks then fine, I respect your opinion. But please, don't say things that you know will start a battle of words. The quoted statement above is just begging to be yelled at, and that's not what we want here.

I want to point out that Impact isn't the only one who posts stuff that is begging for an argument to break out:

This statement is also begging for a war of words. It even asks "Is that it?" at the end, asking the person it's directed at to respond.

Personally I'm getting sick of seeing these arguments pop up in every thread about the new systems or games or whatnot. So please, let's just calm down and try to say things in a way that doesn't start a free for all. Thank you.

Miyamoto hinted recently that when you play twighlight princess on the revo, you can take advantage of its controller. Here is a link to the info on it.

I think using the rev controller for a zelda game would be a neat idea. but the whole thing where it looks like a sword and shield is totally rediculous. Lol luckily it's just a fake

Good thing it is fake. It would be incredibly easy to overswing and rip the shield right out of your other hand because of the short cord.

I can picture myself overswinging in the first minute.
