Nope. The species of pokemon is passed down through the mother; egg moves are passed down through the father.

It seems as though you will have to find a ditto.

Okay. But if you have a preference, that'd be good. I dislike making decisions for other people because I'm worried that they'll become angry over it or something.

And to Skylender: I've currently got a Giratina on the GTS for a Deoxys...I'll let you know if anything comes up (I reeeeeaally want a Jirachi...kawaiiiiiiiiiiiiiii...)

I got one. Japanese. Legit (pretty sure...was obtained Jan. 9 2007, and the games were out in November in Japan. Arrived from Hoenn).

When can you trade? And would you like it in a specific form? Right now it's a defense Deoxys.

And BTW, I still have that stinkin' Giratina if anyone else is interested. Will trade for legendaries only.

i'll be on until 10:00 PM, i'll also be on all day tomorrow, any form is fine, i can change it's form in veilstone so it doesn't matter. i'll send you my FC in a PM. what's bugs me is though...can't deoxys only be obtained fire red/leaf green, then again those games can be linked with ruby and sapphire so it should be ok XD

thanks a bunch!:D i'll go get my jirachi out of sapphire.

I finally got a female mightyena! ^0^ (thank goodness for the GTS) I can make the egg hatch for you if ya' want. (trust me-I've gotten much experience on egg-hatching. my sneasel has produced 7-yes 7-eggs! O_o If anyone wants a sneasel, come to me. XD)

Yes , they both are, and are still in Ruby version.
