New One Piece game coming out this spring. It's a party game so I think I'll save my money for that.

GC I believe. Who wants to bet they'll remove half the stuff in the game and put in all the crappy voices, just like they did with "Grand Battle"?

I'd rather go for the original GC "One Piece: Grand Battle Rush!".

Sure, I like hearing things in English, but if I'm paying for the stuff, I'd rather get everything and have it sound GOOD. >_>

I don`t give a crap about VA in videogames.
I`m so ticked off why people don`t like "Star Ocean: Till the End of Time" because he voiceovers suck.
That doesn`t affect the gameplay.
If it really bothers you, just listen to music in the backround or something.

Well, currently, that doesn't seem so likely. I mean, yeah, the gameplay might be good, but it'll still most likely be missing alot.

And if understanding it includes hearing horrible voices, then ignorance is bliss, my friend.

What I'm saying is, it will MORE THAN LIKELY have ALOT removed. Even if the voices were good, they'l probably remove stuff.

They did with "Grand Battle" (aka "Grand Battle Rush!"), so why wouldn't they with this?

Cuz they're idiots, and they will...

boy this is a stupid argument (mocks argument english the game is better no the japanese is better) it doesn't matter. and btw the main problem with star ocean ppl have is not the VA's its the battle system it just didn't work well and thats what i don't like about one peice grand battle its not so much a link combo's as much as its a button masher. And the voices don't help at all. and i just helped the argument ^ ^ . i am just gonna shut up now

Good GRIEF.

The problem here isn't just the language. It's the fact that they WILL, UNDOUBTEBLY be removing much of the original game when it comes here.

It happened to Grand Battle, it'll happen to this.

'Grand Battle Rush!" had SEVERAL modes, characters, and areas removed when it was brought over as "Grand Battle." Had they kept these, I might not have had as much of a problem with the game (though if they had done that, they probably would have kept a multi-language feature as well).

NOW do you see my problem?

yep i agree cuz i have watched like vids of what i believe is Grand battle Rush! and it seemed alot better than grand battle which i thought stunk. but the video i watched might have been grand battle and not rush but oh well who nows

Grand Battle is one of my favorite fighting games of all time. I rock as Zolo.
I say Zolo because that`s what he was refered to. Ah, me and Josh playing with Kuro vs. Zolo, ah...good times.

I would love to play Rush! but what`s the Rush?

(No pun intended, it depends on how you word it.)

Really, the gameplay of Grand Battle is hardcore, which means I`d love to play the original.

So now, Myoti, I see what you mean. It`s not the voices, but it`s how the gameplay is butchered. The reason why I brought up VAs is because you stated in your first post in this thread is that:

You would rather have everything and have it sound GOOD.

Yes, thank you.

"Grand Battle Rush!" is just the original name (there were 3 Grabd Battles before this, the first on PS, I believe).

"Rush!" just has alot more to it, as it goes up to the Davy Back Fights (meaning it has characters like Enel, Foxy, and Aokiji), and DBF minigames (not exactly like the ones from the series, though), and more levels.

Also, an interesting add-on it had, was SEVERAL optional announcer voices including, I believe, one that had Zoro and Sanji announcing at the same time (bet that could be pretty funny XD).

And yes, to add in, it had the original (better) voices.
