SO... While I wait for the next Silent Hill, I've been trying to get into the newest installment in the Siren series, known as Blood Curse in the US and New Translation in Japan.
I played the demo, and really dug it. I'd played the old siren, and frankly it was too hard and frustrating for me. Well, when I got the game, it ended up that... THIS one is still too hard and frustrating, but since I bought it, I've been slowly working my way through it.
Any PS3 owners picked this up? It's probably the most difficult survival horror game I've ever played, except of course for the FIRST Siren... It's kind of a mix of stealth and survival horror, but I'd say it stacks up to Silent Hill and the old Resident Evil games in the Horror genre (as opposed to the "horror themed action genre" that RE4 and 5 are)

So, I beat the game a couple weeks ago. The end was less Silent Hill and more Earthbound meets Resident Evil... Or something... Really weird... The last Battle took place in what was essentially a giant kaleidoscope...
Still think it's worth checking out for PS3 owners who like horror, but maybe wait and see if we get a bluray release, because downloading this game isn't good... You can't share it with friends and it takes up too much space.

I seen a few images of those games, not so sure if I'll try it at the moment given FEAR 2 Project Origin and Aliens Colonial Marines will be coming out soon. It does look interesting though.
