Please pray for my friend.......

Postby Never thirsty! » Tue Jan 28, 2014 10:40 am

I was at Challenge Day http://www.challengeday.org/ (link) yesterday which for those of you who don't know what it is it's an all day school event where people are challenged to step out of their comfort zones and be the change we wish to see in the world(one of my favorite quotes ever) and there's lots of hugs so there's a time in the day where we share our backstory and one of the friends I made it was her turn to talk and she said that her grandmother died on Sunday and she broke down in tears and wept so to the point she couldn't even speak and it just hurt me so much to see the extreme pain she was in I just ask that you pray for her to be able to make it through this tough time in her life I can't even begin to know her pain I can only imagine it and even when I imagine it it makes me want to weep.

I'll be praying. That has to be hard. And it's awesome to see that you had such compassion for her.
He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the Lord require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God? -Micah 6:8 KJV
They have shewed thee, O teen, what is good; and what doth the world require of thee, but to fit in, be wealthy, have good looks, and be rebellious? -Peer Pressure 1:1
"I hate milk; it's like drinking vomit." -Edward Elric and me. :fmed:
