I actually believe in the theory of evolution as well. *Holds up sheild.* Anyway, I'm sorry to hear you've been having such a hard time. I to often have my moments where I feel I'm falling away a little or 'not acting Christian enough.' I generally have problems consistantly praying, talking to God, reading the Bible, going to church, etc. So in a way I do know how you feel. I question things in the Bible and Christianity in general when it comes to certain subjects. I think the important thing to remember is that God always has and always will be far above religion and heck, even the Bible. You are always probably going to have doubts and questions, you are only human and unfortunatly most of the things you want to know for sure won't be explained to you until you have passed on. God loves you and He is always watching over you. Jesus paid the price for your sins by dying on the cross for you, for me and for everyone in this world that has have ever lived!
I suggest perhaps finding a new skeptic group that is more tolerant of Christianity. These guys and ladies constantly bashing it isn't going to help you any unless you really think you can handle it. As for your friends, I've lived in Pennsylvania my whole life and have never had to move so I can't begin to even imagine how terrible that feels. I hope you will be able to connect with some people in your new home soon and make some friends. I don't have much advice to give you on this considering I'm a very shy and avoident person myself, I only really have two friends I hang out with every now and then. None the less I will be sure to keep you in my prayers!
For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
NIV, Romans 8:38-39.
